We should decide, then and there, to put into action a thought about focusing on the good things. It's all about perspective. "Garbage in=garbage out!" When we choose to dwell on "whatsoever things are lovely, pure, and of good report..." it affects our whole outlook.
So, it's time for some serious reflections on the man I married... and why I CHOOSE to LOVE him! :-*
I know that people need to hear the message that love is a choice! Marriages are suffering; husband and wife relationships are strained--and people often buy into the lie that they can and should end their marriage based on how they feel or don't feel. What ever happened to commitment, what about the vows made at the altar?
An year later, I still CHOOSE to love my husband :-P . REASONS r :----
- He's heavenly-minded!
- He's Hot-Blooded! ( Temper wise :P)
- He's a loving, supportive Husband.
- He has characteristics Like my DAD!
- He's a Four-wheeling Fanatic! ( Any New launchd car he sees..hez like "Honey! we Gonna buy dis someday )
- He's NOT a People Person! ( dat makes him stand apart from Liars - Diplomats and Hypocrates)
- He is What he is His.
- He always knows the “right” thing to say -- he’s reasonable.
- He is always cool, calm, and collected.
- He is always giving 110 percent.
- He Brought Me Breakfast in Bed!
- He Did "Show & Tell" dat "He Loves Me".
- Tells "I Love U" atleast 10times a dat.
- He's a Competitive Sports Player! (Though doesnt Go to office jus for some silly match organized by d company durin d weekends ...@ d cost of leaving me alone @ home :) ].
- He has a Pleasant Voice! ( I fell in love wid his voice 1st...even without seeing him)
- He Can Sing! ............ lol CANNOT SING.
- Shows interest in what I feel is important in life.
- SUPPORTS ME.
- Compliments me often.
- Admit His mistakes; Is Not afraid to be humble. Peel away his pride.
- When something goes wrong, instead of assessing blame, He focuses on how to do better.
- He's my "Hottie"!
- His shoulders and chest make for a great pillow.
No I’m not living in a fairly tale. My life is not all roses and champagne. I consider myself to be pretty lucky to have him.
Sometimes with our busy lives, we forget to stop and smell the roses. I know that’s an old cliche, but have you ever actually stopped to smell the roses? You can smell a rose right now, right? And do you remember how beautiful the sun is as it sets? You’re envisioning it now aren’t you? We tend to forget about the beautiful things until somebody actually points them out to us.
Well you live 24/7 (for the most part) with your spouse. Nobody knows him (or her, for you gentlemen readers) better then you. So it’s up to you to remind yourself of the good things. Remember why you got married and why you stay married. Remember why you get a big smile on your face and why your heart skips a beat when you see him at the airport after a few days away. Don’t forget to appreciate the little things.
And don’t forget to recognize the reasons WHY you love your spouse.
Just Like I did.
Hope I live a 100 births with this Man.
